About the Program: Funded by the Transatlantic Program of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany’s European Recovery Program (ERP), this program explores how communities address diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). This year I am one of 18 participants from all over the United States and Germany. Our itinerary includes meetings with university officials, government officials, community groups, civic organizations, non-profits, and institutions that are vital to addressing equity in Cologne and Stuttgart. The first week in Germany is from September 3-9th. The second week the group will visit Indianapolis and Washington D.C from November 5-11th.
